With the end of the good weather approaching, Paul and Richard are restarting the indoor sessions again next week. They have managed to get Wednesday afternoons back for this season, so the first session will be on Wednesday 14th Oct, usual afternoon times. The location is the Rastrick Bowling and Social Club where we have the club meetings, and cost for flyers remains at £3, again spectators are free.
If you haven’t been before, you don’t need to be a BMAC club member. The room we use is the Bowling Club’s events room and is suitable for flying small indoor helicopters and quadcopters. it is a little small for indoor fixed wing models.
We hope to be able to hire the big sports hall at Lighcliffe Academy again in the next few weeks, which is suitable for small indoor fixed wing aircraft. Notifications will be made on the club WhatsApp if and when we are planning to hire the sports hall, so keep an eye out if you’re intersted.
